Hi,

Been lurking for a while, but I feel safe now so I'll make my presence known

I'm a sound engineer and part-time pro photographer working with an EOS 1DsMkII. Fairly new to the world of 'serious' digitals; previously I used a 35mm for real photography and a FinePix for 'snaps,' until the sensor noise became unbearable!

I'd post an introductory photo, but my laptop (and 3 other hard drives in this place - something weird's going on!) died last week so I'm using this ancient machine while I wait for parts to arrive and fend off calls from people desperate for their photos!

Anyway, 5.30am, probably time to get some sleep. Hardly seems worth it now though, and there's a lovely sunrise outside...

I did do a bit of TV work in the past actually. Had to give it up though - the resolution of my 1Ds is a vast improvement on the TV cameras, but the frame rate isn't quite up to it.
