Hi to one and all.

I'm Guy, always had a bit of an interest in photography, decided to take the plunge and buy a "proper" camera, a Nikon D40. I realise this model/brand isn't held in the highest esteem by everyone here, but the limitations of the camera are a long way ahead of the limitations of the user (so far )

Anyway, i'll get a couple of my efforts so far posted, and hopefully will be round for a while

Nothing wrong with the D40, everyone has to start somewhere.

It really doesn't matter which camera you use at all, so long as you get that picture
Loads on Nikon enthusiasts here & I'm sure you'll get plenty of people able to help you get to grips with your D40.
