Hi the North 2.5 - cyclocross & mtb

Took my new (well second hand) Nikon 200mm f2.8 along to the Hit the North cyclocross/mtb event yesterday.

I've borrowed one before but this one is slightly older and the controls and characteristics took a while to get used to. Day was also a bit mixed so pictures are equally mixed. A handful of the best ones below:

A nice set, you captured some good emotion there. Personally i think the last ones best, love the framing and depth of field.

Thanks Chris, much appreciated. Odd that you like the last one, it's actually one of my least favourites - can't really explain it, just feel it's a bit cluttered.

Hi. I like #2 and #5 the best. Shame about the tiger tape, but there's not much you can do there. Shows the atmosphere well.

Really like #3, I used to cycle and remember having that look many times (absolutely knackered )

4 is a good idea but not sure it works for me, down to depth of feel i think.

I agree Rob, front bike needs to be sharp. I didn't think it would come out as anything tbh so took it almost as a snapshot.
