Hide Clamp - any good?

We seem to be spending more time in hides these days (mainly RSPB)

Anyone care to comment as to whether they are useful and if so which one?

Depending on the width of the shelf I have been using if/as needed my Moman mini tripod with my Gimbal attached.

In the past I have considered a clamp but saw it as single application device.

For fear of stating the obvious......I use it with the legs flat out
