High resolution images from years gone by?

[Dman]

There's 2 or 3 images from years gone by that I'd love to have put on canvas, but wouldn't have a clue about where to get them.

This is an example of one of the ones I'm looking for.

Has anyone got any ideas where I can find such high resolution beauties?

Judging from the higher than normal viewpoint I would think this is a still taken from video footage of the time so its probably about as good as you will get. If it was taken by a Sports Photographer it would be from the sidelines and as sharp as a tack.

I was fairly certain this was from a camera shot, however having decided to do a search for the origins of it I came across this.

So it's job done on that front at least Although I'd still prefer to get it done myself.
