OK, here is an example from a cool test I made.
You might call it a digital version of Kirlian photography.
A very simple setup to produce high voltage with a car ignition coil, about 30.000 volts ( Beware! Hands Off!!! )
The high voltage is then connected to a piece of electrically conductive glass. Under the glass is a ball of solder-iron-tip-cleaner (brass shavings) connected to ground.

That is brilliant (y) a really great idea for a photo but as you say not something to go about doing unless your totally comfortable with what your doing, really nice work

Thats kinda cool.
With all that wood, i'd be doing that outside or in a garage.:bonk:(y)
