Highly technical battery question

Got hold of some Eneloop AA batteries today for my flash , and already have a Uniross Sprint 90min charger, but seem to recall reading somewhere not to fast charge them

Does anyone know if this is the case? Is 90mins considered fast charging? Battery packaging doesn't mention anything.

Sorry for the daft question, but don't want to knacker them

it'll be fine I use a 1hour charger, 15 mins can make them 'warm'

Generally speaking, slow or trickle charging batteries makes them last longer and charge up to maximum capacity each time. Fast charge if you are in a rush, but it is usually better to slow-charge when you can. NiMHs like to be discharged quite fully before each recharge cycle too, but be careful not to deep discharge them.
