Ir will be another scandal if there are no investigations and the CPS will be under pressure to bring prosecututions and quire rightly imo.

They were under pressure over Ian Tomlinson's death too, yet managed to contrive to get PC Harwood off the hook.
Let the whitewash commence.

Not forgetting Derek Smellie, blair peach etc. As I said in a previous post, it's been endemic in all uk police forces for some time, so we really shouldn't be surprised.

What was wrong with his response? I've only heard the part where he apologised.

I think it was lack of confidence overall + even after the previous inquest he was of the mind it was the fans behaviour & nothing to do with the police + he's since praised retired officers for their effort on that fateful day. There's also the Rotherham scandal etc....
