Hinterland Festival - Glasgow (PABH gig) C&C much wanted.

The following set of images were taken at The Admiral bar in Glasgow as part of the Hinterland music festival on Saturday. I can't decide if recently my photos have all got a bit samey... or if I'm simply developing a style :/ I've gone from liking these shots to not really being sure what I think of them. I'd be really grateful of any opinions, regardless as to how harsh.

The band is Pulled Apart By Horses and they are totally mental live. Almost got knocked over a few times. At one point got grappled into a bear hug by the front man with us both toppling over while he's still screaming into the microphone... and I had the guitar slung round my neck at the end of the gig. Certainly not dull!

They are incredibly sharp for gig shots....were you using flash or was it just bright lighting? #8 really sets the mood!

Photostar - Flash is the only way to capture these guys! They move too damn fast, haha. The lighting on stage was orangey but not too bad really. Of course they spend most of their time anywhere but the stage where there is zero lighting, apart from whatever spill you get from the stage lighting.

If you look at #3 you can see the flash really caught one guys arm. I've not really mastered the flash yet. Everyone else had those little soft box things over them... I don't know if that'd help me at all.

All have had a slight adjustment in brightness in post production. #8 had a huge ammount. I shot in RAW and was truly amazed as to what I could pull back. Here is the before and after:

Nice work! I absolutely love Lightroom for getting me out of dodgy exposures....God I hate red lights!
