Hitech Filters but Cokin Z holder

I have just placed an order for some Hitech 100mm nd grads and Pro Stop.

I ordered the filters over the phone (to double check they had them in stock), and was going to order the Hitech holder, but they didn't have the adapter ring to go with it - so he suggested I buy the Cokin Z holder and adapter ring, which I did.

Have I done the right thing? Do they all fit ok?

I do have a normal 77mm adapter ring for my lens, but he said this was not compatible.

I asked them the same question and they told me they did fit but my filters havent arrived yet

Yes, the 100mm Hitech filters work perfectly fine with the Z-pro holder, which is not a bad little holder. However it's a bit bulkier than the Lee holder and I experienced vignetting at wider focal lengths, so when I had it I used the holder with only one slot rather than two or three. IIRC, I also reversed the bolts so the screw head was at the front, nuts at the back to stop them intruding into the frame.
