HMS Ark Royal leaving the river tyne

Hi

Went down today to photograph the HMS Ark Royal leave the Tyne for the last time today, but by the time it left it was getting dark, and my photos came put like below
Can anyone help and edit the ark royal one so the colours seem 'Normal'

Here are a couple of very quick attempts

I think I prefer the first one.
Image/ adjustments/ match colour/ neutralise, and then a little noise reduction and brightened up a little with levels.

were you on the north shields side of the tyne? i ended up on the pier at south shields in the rain and wind, sad day really

I was there as well & posted a few pics, it was beyond cold & the light was p poor :thumbsdown:

Mind you, I've now learned how to set custom WB

It was a sad day to see her leaving for the last time.

ScottNEAM: I was stood on the bank next to the carpark at the Haven on the north side, great view right up the river, so could see what was happening, and got soaked and froze but all good for the last ever chance to photograph the best of british navy shipping
