i emm sort of deleted aload of stuff of my hubbies external Hard drive. It was an accident i thought it was mine and s my sone keep puting loads of rubbish on mine i just binned it then realised what i had done. is there ayway of geting it back ???

Recuva is verry good and free http://www.piriform.com/recuva

You should be able to recover the files, nothing is really deleted until its written over. If you deleted his files then moved over your own you might have more problems but give Recuva a try.

well it was too big for the bin so i deleted it.. i know clever not!!!!!!

but thank you i will give it a go i am not the best with this sorrt of thing but i hope it works

I use Photorec for Linux, there's a Windows version too. http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download Not sure if the Windows version is pointy-clicky, sos. The Linux is command line.
Configurable to recover loads of file-types, or just one or a few. EG all .jpg's and .gifs or just jpg's or pretty much anything. Not perfect (pretty good though) but Free

This is an awesome program... It's command line on Windows as well.

I recovered some data from a (new) drive recently, and recovered some files that were put on there before I got it (so it wasn't new :rant... Of a woman in various states of undress... Luckily, my wife is trusting, or that could've been messy
