Probably been asked a zillion times but...

I'm on the lookout for a holiday/travel camera and I've spent a few hours surfing and pretty much narrowed it down to this particular model. I'm not arsed about interchangeable lenses (I have enough of that with dslrs ). I just want something smallish with decent IQ that I can carry on me most of the times for everyday snaps. Plus the Leica lens appeals to me.

I have an Ebay coupon for an additional 10% off before 30 September so looking at a refurb model on there.

I'm just after some feedback from owners/users to confirm the online reviews before I pull the trigger.

Ta.

I used one for a little while, felt a nice camera to use,but because i also have a mirrorless cameras i couldn't justified keeping it :)

Hi Pete,

Loads of useful info here .

In the meantime, I have one alongside my DSLR, and find it ideal for travel, days out etc when I don't want to drag a bag of kit around. It's not pocketable though (unless you have massive pockets !).

Also really handy for when I pop out at lunchtime in London.

Still not used it enough to get the best out of it, but slowly seeing better results from it. It's quite versatile although some find the zoom range limited (fine for me though).

Few omissions such as fold out or touch screen but not deal breakers for me..

Worth keeping an eye open as Panasonic often do cashbacks on it - last one was £200 I think !
