home made flash gels

okay so i kinda stole the crystal idear of mats recend post hope you dont mind hehe i have a few crystals laying around from when i was a kid used to love the things and never could come to throwing them out good thing to


so i tried out diffrent coloured home made flash gels and these are the results

so these were taken on full manual settings iso 125, f/14 1/200 using 2 fixed lights to highlight all the knocks and crannies in the crystal, and my on camera flash and are straight off the camera no editing done,

okay so number 1

material - yellow plasic bag

made from old snack sized pringle tube with yellow plastic over the end held in place with a hair band ( so i can just change the cover rather then the whole thing)

matieral - blue and white paper ( bit of an old magazine cover)

just swaped for the yellow plastic on end of pringles tube

Good work, it's amazing what you can do a little bit of improvisation myself and TheDodo have made great used of plastic from drinks bottles in the past
