Homemade grey backdrop

Hi,

I'm attempting to do some portraits from my home next week and would like a grey backdrop for some of the images. I haven't the money to spend on backdrops and wondered if some grey fabric would do the trick, pinned to my walls. Has anyone tried this? Tips and advice welcome!

Yup grey fabric would be fine. Somewhere like dunlilm mill will do it. Just use a steam iron to get rid of the creases after you hang it or you will be in post processing for ever !

Or would a large sheet of grey paper work better?
