Honey Bee....Rear view

I know it isnt perfect but it almost achieved what I wanted......any C+C would be appreciated as I am trying to get better at this before I spend the money on a better lens

I like the lighting colours and composition, but the focus for me us in the wrong place for it to work the focus needs to be on the bees bum and not on the legs, was this focused manually or af

Manually.....unfortunately it is quite windy here today and trying to get the plant to stay still was a battle in itself as the AF on the lens wasnt quick enough......plus these bees at the moment are only staying on each flower for a maximum of two seconds before moving to the new one so it is pot luck.....will try again later tonight and let you know

A smaller aperture will help you. f5.6 = not a lot of depth of field so missing the focus like this will likely be a regular event
