I bought this cheap copy of the Canon TC-80N3, in the hope of doing some time-lapse photos. It is branded Hongdak.
Seems to function, except it fails to trigger the shutter release.
Should work in exactly the same way as the Canon original.
Tried it with an EOS 7D and EOS 40D.
Any ideas, before I send it back?
