Anyone use one?

Some reviews I've read slate that the entire image is not sharp.

Thoughts? Also, is there an alternative?

I've actually just bought an alternative on Ebay. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it was a lot cheaper and should do the job.
 
works fine for me, its a great piece of kit. I took it of the thing to hang around your neck and attched it to a rertractable thing you clip to your belt. One of those retractable lanyard/key things, works a treat.

I use a self-modified old school Agfa Gucki slide viewer... any one remember them?

It's by no means perfect, but far better than nothing on a sunny day.
