Depending on the type of photography you do, a grid screen in the viewfinder can be more convenient for lining up horizontals and perpendiculars. I prefer it for general purpose stuff. I can see the use for a bubble level with close-up work or specialized architectural photography, though. But bubble levels are only useful on tripod, of course. Grid screens are also an aid with handheld shooting.
