Hotel wifi and iPads

Has anyone else experienced this?

The hotel I'm in at the moment gave me 24 hour vouchers for each of our 4 wifi devices. The iPad worked fine the first day. Now it won't allow me to enter a new user and password for the second day - and yet it still collects incoming emails  but will not allow browsing?

No expert but try deleting all cookies prior to connecting to the wifi network. It may be that a cookie is protecting the username/password.

On an iPad? Not sure how to delete cookies without resetting everything which I don't want to do.

First select the Settings icon, normally located towards the middle of your iPad Home Screen.

Your iPad Settings menu should now be displayed. Select the option labeled Safari.

Safari's Settings should now be displayed on your iPad. To continue deleting the browser's cookies, select the option labeled Clear Cookies.

A confirmation message will now appear on your screen. To continue with deleting Safari's cookies, select Clear. To terminate the process, select Cancel.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. But I've moved hotels twice since then and I left the problem behind ;)
