One of the few instances where I decided to use live view, the grass where thus daisy was growing was damp and kneeling down wet my jeans, so lying down was quickly ruled out!
This hoverfly (it is I think either the Eupeodes latifasciatus or the Melascaeava cinctella was flitting around the daisies on the patch of greenery opposite the house, so I couldn't resist following it until I got a shot or two. his was the best I could manage - fairly low light conditions, and hand held using live view, on the Sigma 105.
