Trying to make more use of my macro lens not sure if i should have got more of the background in focus or blurred more

These look pretty good to me. They both look very well focused and I personally like the way it is.

Background looks fine to me

First one is perhaps a little underexposed but is nice and sharp. Second looks good to me
