This is the first bug I've seen in the garden this year. Taken with a Nikon D5100 and an old Chinon 28-50 zoom fitted in reverse, popup flash, 1/200 sec, f11, iso 100. Looking forward to the UK weather warming up a bit to get more bug pics :snaphappy:

A really good set of pics cloggie (y)

Great set, #1 favourite and last 2 need a bit of an exposure boost IMHO.

Nice set - they do look a tad under exposed on my monitor though, by around 1 stop, try shooting at f8 woud be my advice

Les ;)

First one's my favourite perfect angle
Agree that the others are a bit dark:)

For using the pop-up flash these aren't bad at all! I think you should try to educe the shutter speed a bit to expose for the background a bit more, and it would be worth trying to diffuse that light a bit. The first is a terrific composition!
