Hi Guys,

Hope you're all well.

My blackberry contract is going to runout in April so im hunting down some cheap contract but with Blackberry Services.. I cant afford to stay with Vodafone so i was looking at tesco mobile and they have 1 month contracts and wondering how they work, anyone know?!

Cheers

James.

You sign up and if you decide to leave you give them one months notice, easy. :)

Cheers Steep... That does sound like a great way of doing things. Very tempted to do it, also flexable, great for a student! (I would have giffgaff if bb services worked!)

if you're a student and money is an issue, why don't you consider pay as you go? it's not as dinosaur as a lot of people make it out to be these days, you can get excellent deals on data/text/call time packages. it's a miracle to catch me with my phone out of my hands and I spend about £20 a month on it, tops. I'm constantly texting and whenever I have a free moment I'm on the internet too.

have a look on the common providers websites at payg deals. Trust me, the days where it cost 12 pence to send a text and 50p per minute of calling are long gone!

If you're going to be spending about £20 a month, you may ad well go on contract - you get more bargaining power too overtime.
I started of with an Xprria X10 almost to years ago at £25 pm for 300 mins, ultd texts and 500mb Internet.
Now (same co tract, can still upgrade/cancel ad per the original contract) I pay £20 pm and get 900 mins, ultd texts, 1.5 gb Internet, 1 GB Wifi, inclusive premium numbers, 10 SMS a day when abroad, 25mb Internet a day when abroad. Oh and I just received a £150 credit as well - so this contract has cost barely anything, plus there's the ease of use with contracts you just don't get with pay as you go - and again, if you're spending that much on pay as you go - go on contract and at the very least you get a phone too, which of you don't use you can sell and pay for most of your contract.
