How do I set up a tutorial to show this forum my workflow?

How do I save screenshots of Photoshop and not my desktop?

What do I save the files as?

How do the tutorial sites record 'movie' tutorials?

Can we post a 'movie' tutorial?

Am I the most stupid person on here for not knowing any of the above?

It could be text based with annotated screenshots, or a record movie with subtitles or narration....

The simplest way is "Print Screen", look for it on your keyboard, then paste the shots into PS.

 The screenshots? JPEGS?

Camtasia is good desktop recording software, but Google will find plenty on this.

Can we post a 'movie' tutorial?

If I find time I might, I'm sure other people are more knowledgeable though.

It can be a complex subject, so, no.

Thanks for the reply but when I try and print screen, paste into PS the window is not clear as like this tutorial linky .

How are these screenshots so much more precise, sharp, small, screenshots ie palette and tool setting screenshots.

I am downloading camtasia so I will get back to you on that one.

On windows, to capture just the app, instead of the desktop use ALT-PRTSCR. I guess for small sections, you could shrink the app window to just show those sections. There's probably an app that will allow you to do a screenshot selection.
