How do you clean your microfibre lens cloths?

I have a preference for optical lens cleaning microfibre cloths, as opposed to lens pens or tissues. I generally replace them fairly regularly, so I now have a few knocking about which get used for other tasks, such as cleaning screens, my glasses, delicate electrical items and so on. I gave my wife's laptop a quick clean yesterday with a cloth and some lens cleaning solution, and it's now a little grubby.

Is there a best method for washing these, or any particularly favoured approach? I'm not sure how fragile they are, and I don't want to use anything too harsh on them.

I just give them a light wash,in the washing machine

No fabric conditioner and best not tumble dry unless your drier has a cool setting.

Probably quickest to handwash using plain soap, rinse well and hang out to dry. Microfibre dries rapidly.

Wash them in a clean bowl and air dry

Good call, never thought of that one. I will give that a try in the tray, then it's not sitting in its own muck

yep, taken at the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am event a couple of years ago
