How do you do trader feedback?

Yes
I have been asked to give feedback...and I have tried for a couple of days now and have no idea how you fill in the box where the sale was.

I have had several people try to give me a list of instructions...but the village is missing its idiot, because I don't understand them.

Anyone got a foolproof way of doing it, because it won't let me post unless it is done right.

Thank you.:help:

I have not traded on TP for ages so I don't know. This was posted in how to use TP tutorials which seems sensible. I'll move it to talkP so more people see it then put it back once you have a good answer.

Go to the thread where the deal was agreed. Copy the address from the address bar (ctrl and c), then click on the iTrader number underneath the forum members name

the OP alreayd has a thread on this on the forum discussion area, with a link to the thread showing him how to do it

To find your previous posts, click on your user name and then 'find more posts', you should find it from there.

You'll have received an email like this every time you've had feedback left for you

Click on the blue link

You'll notice the little yellow icon next to the last two pieces of feedback, this means I haven't left a reciprocal comment, so to do that, I simply click on the icon

and enter my feedback on the transaction

oh, can I just hijack this thread for a question? I tried to leave a second feedback for Canon bob today as there were two threads involved in the goods that arrived this morning. It says I can't leave the feedback until 10.27 even though the time is well past that.

the time of the forum is GMT +1, is it that the time mentioned is actually GMT so I have to wait until 11.27?

No,because believe it or not it's officially British Summer Time (BST) which is GMT+1, so the forum clock is at the correct time

Very droll, but read what I wrote and you might be more helpful. I'll try again now I'm back, but the site clock was telling me that it was 10.35 and the error message was telling me that I could post again at 10.27, so I was asking if the 10.27 was GMT, in which case I would still have some time to wait.

I wasn't attempting to be droll, you asked

The forum messages are timed by the forum clock, which is set to GMT+1 (BST), so if the message says 10.27, then it's 10.27 by the forum clock, not the forum clock time plus an hour....

So it is simply a fault then? The software can't read its own clock?

perhaps just keep opinions to yourself in future.

Listen "mate", you hijacked a thread and asked an unrelated question and I gave you an answer to which you came back with a snide comment.....

If you still have a problem leaving feedback, I would suggest posting a new question in this section and waiting to see what responses you get.

OY quit your jibber jabber or I'll make you both eat NUTS. :bat:

thanks for the tutorial Flash...I have had those blue notices, but had no idea what they meant or where to find them without the blue notice automatically appearing. I think thats what I mean.

Anyway, when you click the little yellow button, how do you put the copy address in the copy address section please. That was the bit I couldn't work out, and it kept taking e back to do it if I tried to dodge the question.

Once you are in the form, how do you find the for sale section?

I have managed to go through and I think I have done everyone...but I had to go to the actual sale topic and work from there. Not everyone involved was on that topic list.....only on PMs, which made it even more complicato.

I will go and see if I can put a tune on my ipod now...I haven't been able to for the last year. Maybe the learning curve is accelerating though.

The itrader software should fill the address of the sales thread in automatically.

You really need to get the other party to post on the actual sales thread as well, I don't think you can leave feedback for a deal done solely via pms.
