Saying it the posh way adds at least a couple of hundred squids to the wedding album....

Disclaimer: I am in no way condoning such behaviour and no I have never used this tactic to fleece any unsuspecting couples.... Just thought I would add that to save any confusion later..:bonk:

Isn't it! Kinda like Chris Barrie in the Brittas Empire, well, just a little maybe,

'For owah weddinngg, Me an Sheila, weed like a liddle bidda reportidge f'owah futo'graffaaaaayy'

It's nice to know that this kind of humour is at least appreciated somwhere:lol:, If I crack out a brummagem drawl oo'er here, the looks I get = :|

My wife has just asked why I'm laughing at our imac... :cuckoo:

Because you are a PC user and it was a case of laugh or cry?

lol, im from Laaaandaaan (london) but the circles in which i swim in are all rather posh, so it was beaten into me as "rrrepor-taje" -basically how the french would pronounce it.

That means pronouncing the "r" from the middle of your tounge and not the front -if that makes sence!

I have only ever heard it said like your second option.

Re-poor-taj (as in Taj Mahal)

Posh gett me! :geek:

I'd say "Would you like me to set up in that bush over there and take your pics in the style of a PI or stalker... but prettier?"

Totally joking of course. I love the Rep-or-taj style of reportage :D One day I hope to be able to do it well myself!

I say re-por-taj. If I said 'poor' in the middle, in my native accent, it would sound like 'rep-poo-err-taj'!!?? :D

OI, common Mancunian here with an accent that stands out like a sore thumb here in London, but I have still always used the second option, reh-poor-taaahhhjj :naughty:

I had to read that twice before I spotted you said "Mancunian" and not "Manchurian"... must be your funny accent
