Is it possible for us normals to start polls??

Yes - you should be able to. Click 'New Thread' scroll down to 'Additional Options'. You'll see 'Post A Poll' - tick the 'Yes' box and select the number of choices you want in your poll.

Bummer. PM Marcel, he should be able to sort it for you. It's probably just a permissions thing in Control Panel.
 
aye its a permissions thing, they are set to off, lol
