So not sure if this is the right forum bit but i was wondering if someone could help me, im taking a few pics on an up and coming boat trip and id love to do it in the style of one of my favourite photographers kitty gallannaugh but cannot for the life of me crack it, can anyone help?

It's a very Cliché thing nowadays but still my favourite effect.

Type in Holga in Flickr or Google and that's the sort of images I believe you are on about. The photos you want would require multiple PP tasks but a starting point is something called "cross processing" and "lomo effect" give it a search, it has a very vintage look but with the Lomo and Holga effects it's more colour mixture, if you don't like the weird colours then just search "vintage photography effect photoshop" and you should find what your looking for

Check out the "1960s" effect and that's the one you're looking for I believe however to get the flares etc that the photographer achieved you would need to do it in camera through overexposing etc

Ive just noticed she sells her photoshop presets but 1: for £12 per action i think ill try and work it out myself and 2 : i got the action from piknic you reccomended mess with it a little and i prefer the outcome, ive been getting the best results from going 1.5 stops over and using a polarizer to keep saturation then dropping the action on it and its looking good!

yeah I've tried using a polarizer to avoid getting the colours too washed out
