How far up north

At one time it was only water down south that these could survive in or so we where told,i live in the Grimsby area and have seen them in two of the three lakes i walk around,i was just wondering how far north they can survive and any sign of breeding yet.

Ive seen them in Northumberland Mike, shame that people dump them they can be very devastating to local wildlife. Not heard of any breeding, but im sure they will be capable.
 
There a Turtle at Balgavies near Forfar.
 
Guess thats what you get from idiots and global warming,they must be here to stay then
