How fast? D3s users please

Can some one tell me what is the slowest speed compact Flash card that should be used in the Nikon D3s to get the 9fps.
 
The 9fps is filling the buffer. The speed of the card is in relation to transferring from the card to a computer or emptying the buffer i.e. camera to card (the maximum speed between camera and card depends on the camera and often lags behind the max speeds of the cards anyway).

Anything 30/40Mb+ per second is fine.
 
Thanks.If I don't need 60mbs I will get a slower card and more memory.
 
I do wonder sometimes why manufacturers don't publish buffer-card write speeds - or if they do I can't find them!

It would mean that getting cards that will meet or exceed that specification can be bought, rather than guesswork...
 
There's a list of tested and compatible cards in the manual.

It's a pretty short list - basically Lexar and SanDisk.

But cards are so cheap now I wouldn't consider using anything else anyway.
