I am totally addicted to Macro at the mo but can't justify spending the big bucks that are required to do it properly. I think with the purchase of a 50mm MD lens now giving me aperture control my Piccy's have come along a bit but something is still not quite there, Any tips or observations will be a great help

All taken with a Centon 50mm F1.8 reversed set at F9 - F11 and shutter speed set manually to suit.

If it's on the cheap then this ain't bad, it's when it costs a packet and it's bad that is when it hurts ;)

No need to spend big bucks to get started, a 50mm with tubes will get you above life size.

As for the pics they look good, well focused. Watch your compositions as the subjects are all a bit to centred. Compositions often work better if there i space for the bug to move into.

Keep at it, it only gets more addictive.

Have now added a set of Kenko tubes to the kit, This 1 taken with the 12mm tube 50mm md reversed at F11
