Reminds me of a few weeks ago, missus says washer machine is not getting hot, she's rings number on the front and they £95 to come and look, parts and labor on top, I get on youtube and within 5 minutes there are guys on there explaining how to change the heating element, googled washing machine parts locally, first number I ring and he has the part for £22, go and fetch it and an hours work later and it's fixed for a total of £22.
