How many flickr hits a day do you get?

.....Trouble with flickr is people very rarely post a proper critique on images. And those pretty "awards" :bang:

Don't get me started on those blingy, awful award things people post up that take up all your screen to say you've won - Annoying. Totally agreed on the comment thing too.

I usually get around 200 hits a day. On Sundays I get between 1000-2000 hits after posting photos from my local football team's game the day before.
This photo has been getting between 20-200 views a day for about a year now and was wondering why until I saw that if you do a Google Image search for "painting with light" it has climbed to the 3rd results page :)

I have just activated the stats link to see, It will however be very low as I haven't uploaded for a while. I don't post in any groups as the award scheme is a bit silly and false (imho) I use it more as just a place to store my images.
Could be the start of a new theme - list our Flickr names and get mass 'genuine' critique?

You'd probably get "proper" critique if you posted in one of the discussion forums asking for it, although IMO this forum's far more useful for crit as you tend to get to know the various names and separate who knows what they are talking about from those whom are less experienced.

^ I agree about posting on TP for proper critique, but as an amateur I could end up posting a lot of rubbish :D. Going the Flickr route people could pick out any good ones

Since 15 Feb (stats start) anything between 102 and 1,635 per day: http://www.flickr.com/photos/milouvision/.

I think it's fair to say that Flickr posters need to access the right groups if they want photography critique or serious discussion of their work, philosophy etc. They exist, are useful and also can act as a focal point for arranging meet-ups etc and can provide community work such as the Free Photo Guides e.g. http://freephotoguidesukwales.blogspot.com.

It's a fair comment that traffic to Flickr images is principally generated by being on featured on 'Explore' rather than commenting or joining 'Post One Comment Two' groups. I'd be surprised if Flickr is seen principally as being a sales medium although that can be a benefit that flows from participation.
