How much of a harddrive do you carry?

I Was wondering how much space in memory cards do you carry in general?

I usually carry 2x 8gb scandisks, and a 4gb scandisk as well as a 16gb Kingston ( all CF) for my 50D.

What do you take out?

I take a single 8gb card in the camera.

I have a 16gb one I use for video and an 8gb & 4gb for photos but rarely need the 4gb. If I'm away for more than 1 day though the laptop comes with me too. 820gb

I carry two 8 gig sandisk cf's in the camera, and a further 6 8 gig sandisk cf's in my think tank pocket rocket. I get 312 shots per card so have the capacity to shoot 2.5k of photos.. when I add my d300 I will prop get a couple more to fill the pocket rocket... I'm funny like that.. lol, and all the cards are matching and labelled lol

Generally I carry the 4GB that is in the camera.

If going away I take 3 x 4GB and 2 x 2GB which was enough to last me three weeks on holiday shooting RAW+JPEG.

3x 4Gb, 2x 2Gb and a 32Gb

I prefer to shoot on lower capacity cards, and change them between "events" so that if one corrupts I don't lose a whole trip's worth.
