How much to pay for Used Canon 300mm f/4 Non IS

I have been looking around but can't find any real good examples.

What is the going rate now for a used 300mm f/4 Non IS model???

I've been looking at the IS version, which seems to go for about £750-£800 2nd hand (before the pound took a tumble it was this much brand new). The non-IS is older, so at a guess maybe £400-£450? Good hunting.

As stated, the Non IS version is the older lens, just did a quick search and only found 1, in New Zealand going for $1000 NZ Dollars which is about £440. Apparently the Non IS version is suppose to be the sharper of the 2 lenses, although I've got no complaints about my IS version.
