How much would it cost to replace a AF motor in a Nikon AF-S 17-35mm F2.8 ED AF Zoom Lens

Found one going for £350 but this is its condition according to the owner

Good condition - working order. The lens works perfectly in manual focus mode - it does not work in auto focus mode. The zoom is slightly stiff - you can rotate it with one hand and will probaly free up with some regular use.
 
I have heard good things from fixation and they are normally quick on giving a quote.

But you have to ask yourself how come the AF doesn't work and the zoom is stiff...

Good point Liam, I am trying to raise soom cash to buy one of these lenes, might just have to wait another month or two and save abit more
