How someone new in the forum can buy or sell?

^^^^^^^

Never been seen since he joined on Saturday, wonder if he will ever come back.

You never know, he may post again sometime in the future. I have seen that a few times on here. Someone with only a few posts, posts something. You assume they must have not long joined, but they may have joined years ago. Saw it the other day, maybe only five posts and joined about six years ago. So he may come back, at some point.

I dont know your name, you are the only one that doesnt have one. Are you a bully? you start to sound like a bully. You just made a statement about my start, but that is your opinion, yet you seem to make it like the forum's opinion as if you are the pod-boss. No you did not want a conversation, you wanted are pro-retailer and you wont have it any other way. Well guess what, started or not, I have my own opinion and calling "a free country" taking advantage of people is the same with the PayDay loans went on for years. Yes, a strech, but you do get the point. I dont have any reason to be against your own beliefs, but its is wrong to work with 100% profit on simple people when you work with 8% at max with new equipment. All the best, I cant stick around to reply to you anymore, but you can have the last word, I know you need to.

As a retailer who buys and sells pre-owned goods (not photographic) I feel you are missing a point, namely that a retailer will probably have to hold onto the item for some time, buying in pre-owned stuff is a bit of a lottery, you have quite a small demographic to aim at in a town or area of a city, on auction sites however you have a much larger demographic.
Then you still have to abide by similar rules, I offer a 3 month money back warranty on all I sell, if an item goes wrong in that 3months I can't return it to who I bought it from, it's sold to me "as seen". so if it is faulty I will incurr costs to get it repaired.
As for margins, the only retailers I know who work on 100%+ are coffee shops, most of the other businesses that I am in touch with work to 25 - 35% margins as a maximum, on pre-ordered I make about 15%

It’s funny reading this thread. I’ve been a member for years and still don’t have access to the classified because I don’t post anything. I come here for inspiration which I get a lot of.

I think that you'll find that last post you made means you probably DO have access now... :)
