Sounds like a mad question, but I've read some articles that imply that one should always mount the extender to the body before mounting the lens onto the extender.
I'm intrigued to know what difference it could make (especially if the camera is off at the time).
There seemed to be some implication it might affect operation or AF accuracy if you mount the extender to the lens first!
Any thoughts?
