Yes
... without getting killed

I've been wanting to visit the london protesters at st pauls for a few days now but not yet made it.
I dont think things there are likely to escalate as far as they have in oakland with the police there choosing the moment the local media helecopter went to refuel to set off flashbangs, shoot tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters to clear the crowd, any time soon but you never know - stranger things have happened!!!

An article just popped up on my facebook newsfeed via the gizmodo group and i thought i would share it with the forum go-ers as some of us might find ourselves in a tight situation while trying to get a great picture for the wall at home.
It is full of tips on how to stay safe and get the news and pictures you went there for

That Oakland stuff is terrifying. God bless America.

By contrast the St. Paul's protest is uber peaceful and boring, the worst that's going to happen is someone with a very boring long winded point to make might corner you and insist on talking economics for half an hour.

Some interesting advice on that link, if mainly rather obvious. Also with apps like Sukey (http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2011-01/31/sukey-protest-app) it's no longer so nessecary to rely on info from police and protesters to understand how things are unfolding. And at the end of the day the only places you're really likely to be killed as a citizen journalist are places like Syria.
