what is the best set up/ way of capturing the first dance!!

i buying a 35mm f/1.8 lens to ensure i can capture this well enough for the first dance. I would probably need my flash gun, check! What settings would i need... i was thinking possibly 1600ISO (or HI1 as the d40x puts it) max ap, about 1/120 speed? or mayb a bit slower for the ap to work?

i could set up my own light or ask them to notch the lights up at bit to reduce blur of my shots but that is very amatuer like!
im talking to much lol, il let you guys input

Every first dance is different, some are very dark, some quite "light and airy". A good idea is to get the happy couple to have a mock fiirst dance for you as soon as they arrive at the reception, whilst the guests are in the bar!! here you can try a number of different set-ups.
