Recently after having installed Lightroom onto my laptop it opens automatically when I insert a disc with a photo on it. How can I stop this from happening? I only want to have the box with the 'Open Disc' options etc.

I'm running Vista if that makes any difference over a Mac, thanks.

Go into options and switch it off ;)

I can't remember where it is on Windows, but do a search and the exact menus etc will be revealed.

You need to alter the Autoplay options
Click Start button > settings > control panel
Double click auto play
Find the drop down box which is displaying "lightroom" as default. click it and then select "take no action"
Click "save" in the bottom right hand corner

Job done

Did you set lightroom to be the progam that is associated with jpg/jpeg files by mistake?

If you open a photo on your PC does it fire up lightroom?

If so, go to Start > Default Programs > Associate...

And that will sort it

Cheers Bagger, that's sorted it.

Just read your original post again, If you want a box to pop up every time with option on what to do then you need to select "Ask me every time" and not "take no action"

But if its sorted then you've probably already done this :)
