How to win an award??

Long story short.

I know of a photographer who has won best photographer in the north east.

Who votes? where at? do you need to be in a club? what club? lol

I just awarded myself Best Reply to This Thread.

It was a tough decision, but as head of both the selection and judging panels I felt that I was the only real choice.


Call me cynical.. but an award is only worth the rigour of the process resulting in it.

I just won POTY at my local camera club for beginners. We normally have a mix of our camera club members and outside judges giving us points throughout the year towards the award. It means a fair amount of dedication to enter each competition during the year but does of course have rewards, Get yourself to a club young man
