Hoya lens - quality ?

Once the taxi is up and running, I'll be adding a 28mm to the Nikon F3 - hopefully

in surfing around - found a Hoya HMC Nikon Ai fit 135mm f2.8

if their glass is so good - what is this lens like ? cannot find reviews

I used to use them on my old Olympus OM1n, as Zuiko glass was to dear for me, it's usually OK ,they make ,or used to,lenses for other firms.

It's probably getting on for 30 years old. Hoya briefly sold lenses under their own brand and they were pretty good - certainly good value.

135 2.8 isn't a very demanding spec so if it's survived intact it will probably be a nice surprise.

Why don't you try it?
