Managed to get a trip into visiting Hoylake just before the high tide over the weekend, plenty of waders on show Ringed Plover, Sanderling, Dunlin, Curlew Sandpiper, Knot, Grey Plover, Black Tailed Godwit, Curlew and Oystercatcher.

Didn't photograph all of the above as some stayed quite distant but some came well within range allowing me to capture a few shots.

Thanks all it was great having the tide bring the waders towards us, I managed to find a spot to hunker down and just watch the spectacle.

The two big spring tides on the 17th and 18th will hopefully be even better ,might do parkgate on the mon and hoylake on tues
 
Thanks for the heads up on the dates Jeff, looks like another trip to the coast, tried again yesterday but some chap taking shots though it was a good idea to walk across Hoylake beach and flush everything.
