HSS on a 550EX

[On the Huh]

Broken foot on the 580 so used a 550. HSS has to be set each time. Anyone knows how to get it to behave llike a 580?

I've got two 550's and they stay in whatever mode I select....how are you selecting HS sync?

As Bob says - My 550 also retains the HSS setting until I turn the function off.
