This little fellow was sat on our stairs, looking a little jaded and made no effort to get away when I tried to move him to safety. As I moved him (this is a blatant assumption as I have no idea if it's a he or she really) , he stuck his tongue out, which prompted some quick thinking and making of a sugar syrup to feed him. Perked up in seconds!

Thanks for your comments Matt. I think you're right, the first would be better with a tighter crop - at least get rid of the distracting sugar crystals on the left!

I've spent a while trawling through various moth identification websites trying to find out what species it is, but have failed! Any lepidopterists around?
