Hyde Park candids

Not posted on here in a while! Being shooting allot of mundane stuff not worth posting.. A little trip to London got me shooting a few candids in Hyde Park - always enjoyed street shooting nice to do it somewhere new!

Does the fence ruin most of them..?

The fence doesn't ruin them. It identifies them as being in a park.

But I'm afraid none of them really inspire me as street candids either

I quite like them, but all your subjects are bang in the middle of the frame, particularly 1,4&5, consider cropping behind the subject so they have some space to walk into.

I like photo 3.

If I had taken this photo I would try cropping it a little so as to "home" in on the dynamics between the three. I would also it straighten as I think it is slightly crooked.

I specially like the bored face on the smallest child.

The fence doesn't ruin them. What lets them down is the content, or rather, lack of content. They're just photos of people walking along doing nothing. The hard bit of street photography is having the patience to wait for something to happen (and then being alert enough to catch it in a decent photo).
