Well, I presume you have the connector ring? I have the hitech set ip and you need to screw the connector ting into the end if the lens, slip the filter holder over it, tighten that Tongue ring with the screw then hey presto, you can slide the filter in.

You need a ring which attaches the holder to the filter thread on your lens.

I knew as much. Why did this only just occur to me when the parcel arrived, thus leaving me with insufficient time before I go away. I think a bit of DIY is necessary...
The adaptor rings on the Hitech website - which one do I go for? I'm assuming I'll use it most on my wide angle (67mm) and Tamron 17-55 (72mm).
So this is what I need for my Tokina and this is what I need for the Tamron?

I needed 3 parts for a filter set: filters, adaptor ring and filter holder. I asked my wife to get me the adaptor ring and the filters and I'd get the filter holder. Christmas arrived and, yes, you guessed I also bought an adaptor ring.....
